Booked a room on the balcony.

During my stay for a busy event in town, I really appreciated how close this place was to the Biodiversity Institute & Natural History Museum and other attractions like Massachusetts Street. The King Room I booked was surprisingly clean and comfortable, giving me a nice place to unwind after a long day of activities. It was a decent place for a short stay while enjoying everything Lawrence has to offer.

The breakfast options were acceptable, so that's something. Parking was convenient.

A serious annoyance was the lack of housekeeping. After a stay of 6 nights, not once did they clean the room, leaving us to manage our own trash. The rooms had an unpleasant odor, with reports of dirtiness and insects. I encountered a room that was purportedly available but had never been cleaned before my arrival, starkly disappointing.

The A/C didn't work, but the room was clean and comfy enough for a night.

If you're hunting for culinary gems, you've got to check out Red Pepper Chinese Restaurant just 0.3 km away. Their toasted sandwiches were an unexpected delight. Despite everything, I did have a comfy night's sleep.

A little hiccup though-arrived to find the hotel boarded up. Pretty shocking, especially when I received confirmations about my stay. In the end, I had to crash in my car, but at least I can say I had the adventure of a lifetime!

The food was good - a huge variety of options. The room was updated & big, came with trash- bed, the balcony. The location was favourable and absolutely perfect, the staff were excellent. Plus I reached Allen Filedhouse Arena in 25 minutes by foot.
